In the spirit of getting back into blogging, and reconnecting with our musical roots, we’ve promised ourselves (and you our dear readers) to make a concerted effort to post & share regular updates on the tunes, tracks, and standards in rotation here at the modernorganic office. To kick things off we have a new EP and podcast from our good friend and colleague Pawn, released through SMOG Records. Your Feelings falls under a Jungle/Footwork classification, though in typical fashion Pawn’s production layers genres with it’s rhythms. West Coast bass music at it’s core, and atmospheric in gaze, the four tracks skit and splash with tech-step and neuro-funk influence. Perfectly suited to keep things moving without getting too frantic during late night photo editing session and marketing pushes.
